Yes, it’s happening! As of Wednesday, May 6, BlueCollar Barber Shop will be open.

Everyone at BlueCollar is excited to show off our new location, at 119 Broad Street in downtown Kingsport.

Before coming down for a haircut, shave, or just a trim, here is some important information you need to know about our policies, as they relate to state regulations regarding limiting the spread of COVID-19.


Capacity Limits

 Due to the restrictions on social gatherings, BlueCollar only can have a maximum of 10 people in our shop at any one time. This total includes customers, barbers, and any other staff on site. If you are bringing in your child for a haircut, we ask that he be accompanied by one parent or guardian.



Clients will check-in at the door, providing their name and a phone number. You then will receive a text message when your barber is ready for you.


During Your Appointment

If you are feeling sick or running a fever, we ask that you wait to visit our shop until your symptoms are gone.


If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or been in close contact with someone who has been exposed, we request you follow current CDC guidelines and adhere to both of these conditions:


  • Wait until at least seven days have passed since you first experienced symptoms
  • Wait until you have been symptom-free, to include at least three consecutive days (or 72 consecutive hours) with no fever without the use of fever-reducing medications


If you have a mask that can be worn by looping it around the ears, please wear it. We also will have a table set up at or near the door, to provide masks for you.
